Leanne joined the practice in 2017, bringing clinical experience from her years of work in both the non-profit sector and private practice. She received her Masters of Counselling Psychology from UBC in 2006. Prior to joining the practice, she enjoyed counseling clients with a variety of concerns in diverse settings such as CHIMO Community Services, Family Services of Greater Vancouver and the University of British Columbia Counselling Services. She has experience working with topics such as complex trauma, various areas of mental health, skill-building, healthy relationship and communication skills, stress-reduction and mood-related concerns.
Leanne’s approach is largely driven by her clients’ unique needs and involves a blend of listening, resource-building and practical solutions/skill-building. She takes special interest in mind-body approaches to well-being.
